Reach Compact
Reach Compact: compact mobile welding boom
Reach Compact is a small, easily moved welding boom for MIG/MAG, TIG and plasma welding. It is especially suited to welding rotating workpieces together with a welding positioner or welding rotators.
Compact is available without motorised longitudinal travel when the machine is used only for welding rotating workpieces.
Fast, precise positioning
The torch is brought close to the weld with fast manual quick-release movements. Precise positioning is done with remote-controlled electric movements.

With motorised longitudinal travel, Reach Compact is suitable not only for rotating workpieces but also for straight longitudinal welds and cladding.
Automatic weld tracking
Tactile seam tracking follows the joint and steers the torch both sideways and up/down. AVC keeps the torch at the correct distance based on the arc voltage.
Optional oscillation produces a programmed side-to-side motion during welding.
PipeMaster control panel as an option
Reach Compact can be fitted with the same control panel as PipeMaster. The panel controls the welding boom movements, the rotator and the EWM welding machine.
Welding settings can be saved as named recipes. The control system requires a compatible rotator and EWM welding machine.
